Both campuses have an active PTG that assists the schools in countless ways.
The mission of the PTG is to:
• Facilitate unity between the parents and the school community thus enriching the lives of our children.
• Support the educational environment through open communication and a close relationship between home and school.
• Organize activities to enhance the “Spirit of Community."
• Support the overall school mission.
The PTG's mission is achieved through a variety of activities and services organized and administered by the group. Major events include Applefest and Worldfest on the Oberursel Campus, and Harvest Fest and Summer fete on the Wiesbaden Campus. In between, a host of other family-oriented events, school service projects, new student orientations, and Visiting Authors Programs are sponsored by the PTG.
PTG members also volunteer as room parents, library volunteers, book fair coordinators, and classroom volunteers who work in many different capacities.
PTG country coordinators are also available to welcome new families and answer questions in many languages.
PTG meetings are held once a month and are open to all parents.
