Volunteering
Volunteering is one of the most significant and valuable ways to give to FIS. Through the generous dedication and commitment of time, expertise, creativity and spirit, our parent volunteers strengthen the bonds within our culturally diverse student, teaching and family communities on both FIS campuses. Similar to financial donations, volunteering directly impacts and improves the learning and teaching at FIS and helps us to better achieve our mission of being a family-oriented international school.
Whether helping at one of the school's major events or assisting teachers with individual classroom activities, sewing costumes and building stage scenery, or running the concession stand during athletic events, volunteering makes a meaningful difference to you and your child's overall experience at FIS. We truly appreciate the generous contribution our parent volunteers make to our school, and invite and encourage you to join them in this honorable form of giving. Whether for a weekend, a day or a few hours, please consider volunteering at one of our community events or in the classroom and see how your generosity enriches our community and helps make FIS a home away from home.
In addition to individual volunteer opportunities in our classrooms and libraries, several established groups within the school provide volunteer opportunities for school-wide, athletics and performing arts events as well.
