Alumni Courtyard

Doors opened to the new FIS Alumni Courtyard in February 2012 and within just a few months it has become a popular place for students to relax and take a break from their classes and studies. As part of the FIS facilities master plan, the refurbishment of the courtyard transformed previously unusable space into a garden for our current and future students and faculty to enjoy.

FIS has dedicated this new space to our alumni community – all of our past students, families, teachers and staff – who have shaped the school’s history and development, and kindled the FIS spirit that thrives around the globe. The Alumni Courtyard is a home to the memories, experiences, achievements and friendships of all of our community members who have shared a very special and important time in their life at Frankfurt International School.

As part of the effort to cover the estimated cost of €100,000 for the courtyard renovations, we are inviting our alumni community and the Class of 2012 to join together and help FIS raise €35,000 through donations to the Annual Fund.

Donations to the courtyard will be recognized in your name on a special plaque for your class year, and gifts of €1,000 or greater will receive additional recognition in different areas within the courtyard (e.g. benches, trees, tiles, etc.). This is a tax deductible opportunity in Germany and the USA for our alumni to give back to FIS in appreciation for the education, experiences and friendships that have influenced and enriched their lives.
