Equity, justice and belonging AT FIS
Equity, justice and belonging are core values of FIS. All community members have the right to experience these values and feel safe, secure and welcome. The school actively seeks out diversity because the representation of individual differences on campus such as age, ethnicity, family makeup, gender identity and expression, language, learning ability, nationality, physical ability, race, religion, sexual orientation, and socioeconomic status is vital to the school achieving its mission, honoring its beliefs, and creating a sense of belonging for all.
The FIS community, led by the Board and the Administration, are working together to define, foster and sustain an inclusive, equitable and just environment that is responsive to the community’s evolving needs.
Our mission is to be the leading, culturally diverse and family-oriented international school with English as the principal language of instruction. We inspire individuals to develop their intellect, creativity and character to become independent, adaptable, socially responsible and internationally minded citizens, by ensuring a dynamic, inquiry-driven education of the highest standard.
