FIS Wiesbaden
a place to find my community
For more than three decades, FIS Wiesbaden has been providing students age 3 (First Steps) through Grade 8 with opportunities designed for students to thrive. Our world-class campus, located just 40 kilometers from central Frankfurt, allows for a well-balanced mix of academic subjects, sports, outdoor learning, after-school activities, private music instruction, multi-language learning, and a focus on STEAM learning.
To meet the needs of children who have lived and learned in many different cultures and in different languages, our international educators take an innovative approach to teaching that is both supportive and personally challenging for all students. Because of its smaller size, teachers on the FISW Campus have greater flexibility in creating highly personalized learning opportunities for students, particularly in our multiage classrooms for Grades 1-2, and 3-4.
From the nearby forests and horse stables to our state-of-the-art ACE (Arts, Creativity, and Education) Center, students in Primary and Elementary School have the best of both worlds – access to the latest technology and surrounded by nature.
While Middle School students benefit from the same outstanding facilities, they enjoy their own wing of the school specifically designed for developing teenagers. Experienced faculty work with students as a team to create custom-designed learning experiences. Smaller classes allow for innovative and dynamic opportunities to ensure student engagement and maximum student growth.
