Kids Club: This after-school childcare program is part of the REAL Activities program for students up to Grade 5 for a nominal fee. Please note all students in Grade 5 and below are required to be under direct adult supervision after school ends. Kids Club typically operates on normal school days from the end of the school day until 17:00.

Kids Club is an ideal choice for students who need to stay after school or before/after an After School Activity. You may sign your child(ren) up on a regular basis or on an as needed basis. All requests need to be received latest by 11:00 on the day.

Kids Club is invoiced three times per year.

Junior Warriors: This parent-run group offers opportunities in the fall (soccer), winter (basketball) and spring (baseball) for children age 4 years through Grade 5 at the Oberursel Campus. Registration takes place in conjunction with REAL Activities Program. Learn more about Junior Warriors. 

Summer Academy: The FIS Summer Academy (day camp) is held each summer on our Oberursel Campus and is open to current and future FIS students, as well as those in the community who would like to experience our summer camp program. Registration begins in the spring each year. Learn more about the FIS Summer Academy. 

Holiday Camps and Trips: Each year, FIS offers onsite camps as well as offsite trips during some breaks. Past onsite camps for all ages have included soccer, drama and music and trips to Austria for skiing and Sweden for canoeing for Grade 6-12 students have been offered. The trips include transportation, meals and lodging for the week. 

On-site camps and trips are typically offered during Fall Break I, Ski Week and Summer Break.

Registration takes place in conjunction with the REAL Activities Program registration and is on a first-come, first-served basis. 

Private music lessons are offered for a variety of instruments which typically include: Cello, Clarinet, Double Bass, Flute, Guitar, Percussion, Piano, Saxophone, Trumpet, Violin, and Viola. Lessons are arranged by parents and instructors and invoiced via the REAL Activities Program. Please view our Tutoring Catalog for a list of instructors as well as instructions on arranging lessons.

Adult activities are open to all members of the community. Please see the REAL brochure for registration details. In addition to our wealth of scheduled and paid activities, the below are free community offerings.

Summer at Global Online Academy (GOA) provides meaningful learning opportunities for high school students to explore a passion or topic of interest during the summer months. GOA’s summer offerings include over 25 courses. As GOA summer offerings are condensed versions of their semester courses, students should expect a 10-12 hour per week commitment.

The summer term runs in two sessions in a 7-week intensive format taught by expert educators who are experienced and deeply skilled in teaching and supporting students both in-person and online.
