2020 First Day of School with faculty at FISW

FISW Faculty & Staff

Our mission to be a "family-oriented school" refers not only to our enrolled families, but to our family of faculty and staff. Between our two campuses in Oberursel and Wiesbaden, we have approximately 230 faculty representing 30 nationalities.

We are a school where exceptional teachers inspire students to reach their full potential. To accomplish this, we begin by selectively recruiting experienced faculty with a history of motivating and challenging students. Our faculty use the most current teaching practices and tools in an environment where students' individual needs are paramount. Results of student performance, which are published each year, make it clear that the reputation of FIS is based not on lofty aspirations, but on hard evidence that grows stronger with each passing year.

FIS is committed to the ongoing professional development of our faculty members. The school frequently invites experts in the field of education to our campuses for on-site seminars, and also encourages faculty to take advantage of conferences around the globe.

We have a special relationship with parents and the youngest students of FIS. We are the extended family that brings family and school together. While our community is diverse, there is inclusion in all activities, and although we come from all around the world, it feels like one. Everyone at FIS is valued and unique.

More Than Just a Job

As part of our "family-oriented community," we include faculty and staff into our family and encourage them to explore, learn, grow, and coach.
