middle and high school activities

Goalie on the soccer pitch

Part of what makes school fun for older students is activities outside the classroom. Whether it's performing in the band, playing a sport, debating a resolution, leading committee, or donating time to helping benefit the community, participating in extra-curricular activities builds camaraderie, provides leadership opportunities, teaches empathy, and develops real-world skills.

With more than 100 clubs, service groups, sport teams, and after-school activities, students in Grades 6-12 have endless opportunities to grow, play, lead, and take action beyond the school day. This includes after school sport programs, involvement in performing arts, extended language studies, student and family trips beyond Germany, and an array of other opportunities to ignite a passion for learning and growth.

At FIS there are a lot of out-of-school activities, and there are also many sports. You have so many opportunities to do what you love. For example, at FIS you have MUN, dance, theatre, debate, all the service groups and many more. With that you have freedom to do whatever you like.
