Nothing could have prepared our community for the developments of the last eight months. Covid-19 has resulted in a world full of uncertainty and our school has had to rapidly adapt to new realities. Pivotal shifts in the needs of students and educators have transformed how learning is delivered. Despite this time of turbulence, our teachers, staff and school leadership has worked tirelessly to adapt and create an environment of safety, innovation, achievement, and compassion in which our students continue to thrive.
This year, our Annual Fund campaign will focus entirely on supporting our community through this crisis – our students, our families, and our faculty and staff. Compassion is central to our school’s mission and with your support we will invest where help is needed most. The pandemic has been a challenge physically, emotionally and economically. Through our Tuition Reduction Program (TRP), we will focus on helping families impacted financially; we will support the health and well-being of our faculty; and for our students we will implement and leverage innovations in the classroom and learning possibilities outside the classroom that will help secure their future.
We will keep our community strong and resilient and ask for your support of this important work. The Annual Fund contributes to unique projects that enrich learning and support the emotional well-being of our community. Inspirational guest speakers, collaborative projects or compelling seminars are examples offering our students and faculty meaningful opportunities for reflection, balance and health across our two campuses. Most importantly though, through the Fund our Tuition Reduction Program offers a life-line to members of our parent community who have been impacted financially, enabling their children to continue their studies at FIS.
Annual Fund donations are an investment in every member of our FIS family. This year, more than any other, we ask for your support to be stronger together. Every donation, regardless of size, has a positive impact on the lives and learning within our community.
If you would like to participate, donate here.
Thank you for your support!
