Congratulations to the FIS Swim Team on their recent Sports Council of International Schools (SCIS) tournament results in Athens (Middle School) and Warsaw (High School). The Middle School (6-8) Boys Team and High School (9-12) Girls Team took the title for their age bracket, winning 1st place out of 10 schools. The High School Boys and Middle School Girls earned 3rd and 4th place, respectively. Standout performances included FIS 1st place finishes in the 200 meter Individual Medley, 50m butterfly, 200m Medley Relay and 50m Backstroke.

The FIS Swim Team is a group of over 50 swimmers (traveling team and practice team) spanning Grades 6-12 and including both boys and girls. The team trains five times per week in the morning before school at a local pool in Oberursel. They are all looking forward to ISSTs in Brussels in March, as the final competition of the season approaches.
