At the end of May, the 3rd Annual FIS Writing Symposium took place on the Oberursel Campus. This is a collaborative project that aims to inspire creativity in art and writing and results in a published book. The theme this year, for the first bilingual edition of the book, was "Borders" or "Grenzen" in German. This theme was explored by Frankfurt International School students and scholarship students from a local state school, the Paul-Hindemith-Schule.

The project brought together students from very different cultural and socio-economic backgrounds to explore this topical theme under the tutelage of authors Ross Raisin and Katrin McClean, Graphic Designer Anja Fuchs, and publisher Sonja Hintermeier. The project was organized by Aodhnait Donnelly who runs the Writing Center at Frankfurt International School. The published book will be available on Amazon later this year and launched during Frankfurt Book Fair in October.
