Bart de Witte
Bart de Witte is an innovator, entrepreneur and self-proclaimed healthcare nerd who holds degrees from universities in Belgium and has followed several other post-university tracks at renown business schools, including Harvard Business School. He is currently a faculty member at the University of Applied Sciences in Business Administration Zurich on digital health, and is a founder of the Austrian Quantified Self Organization. He is a global keynote speaker, with over 18 years of digital health experience in 26 countries, focusing on digital health transformation and stimulating innovation, leveraging the capabilities around artificial intelligence. He currently serves as the Director of Digital Health DACH at IBM Germany, and is the director of the Faculty of Digital Health at


Alessandro Donati
Alessandro Donati is the Head of Advanced Mission Concepts and Technologies Office (AMCTO) at the European Space Agency (ESA), and has more than 20 years of experience in satellite operations at ESOC, ESA's European Space Operations Centre in Darmstadt, Germany. In 2001, he founded what was the precursor to today's AMCTO, a "skunk works"-style office devoted to introducing and exploiting advanced enabling technology in support of innovative mission operations concepts.

Dr. Paul Fochtman
Paul Fochtman is the current Head of School at Frankfurt International School. As a teacher he instructed high school chemistry, economics, and physics, and has since gone on to lead schools in Asia, India, Germany and the USA. He is the current Board Chair of the New England Association of Schools and Colleges, and in 2017, was named global superintendent of the year by the Association for the Advancement of International Education (AAIE).

Dr. Bettina Rowlands
Bettina Rowlands is a scientist by training, with a Master’s degree in chemistry and a PhD in biochemistry, and has worked for the past 13 years in product innovation and development of consumer goods, connected electronic devices, and digital products and services. Bettina’s particular talent is to combine creative and analytical thinking to connect the worlds of the consumer and technology. Her foray into AI includes a team effort to gather sensor data (accelerometer and gyroscopic) from the position of toothbrushes in the mouth to give feedback to consumers based on where they are brushing.

Dr. Murat Ünal
Murat Ünal is a co-founder of SONEAN, an ecosystem intelligence solution firm that provides a global client base with intelligence about markets and industries where they conduct business. SONEAN has created an intelligence solution based on network analytic foundations and runs the largest private social network analytic capability in Europe with its core team of employees, its SNA Lab, and its academic initiative (SNA at Work) to connect data in an unparalleled manner.

Dr. James Beaty
James Beaty is a senior staff member at the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (APL), and is the Health Technologies Program Manager for APL’s National Health Mission Area. In this capacity, he is responsible for project execution and thought leadership related to the areas of biomaterials, upper extremity prosthetics, and computer assisted surgical planning. James' work also includes leading a team of upper limb prosthetic signal analysis experts for DARPA's Revolutionizing Prosthetics Program. His research has focused on brain-computer and brain-machine interfaces, neuroprosthetics, and other neural technologies.
