The State of Hesse has mandated that all schools remain closed until Monday, 20 April to combat the spread of the coronavirus.
Regular communications are being shared with current FIS Community members during the school closure.
Although our campuses are currently closed, the admissions office remains available to answer your questions by writing to email@example.com.
Teaching and Learning
Frankfurt International School is committed to educating global citizens, from our youngest learners in First Steps through to our seniors. To prepare our learners for an ever-changing world, we need to educate them in traditional subject areas, but also help them develop vital skills and values that transcend subject boundaries and age levels.
We have developed a Definition of Learning, which states:
Learning is the lifelong cycle of curiosity, discovery, experience and reflection that results in the acquisition of new understandings, attitudes and skills. These enable us to construct meaning, make connections, take action, and grow intellectually, emotionally and socially.
