Frankfurt International School is pleased to announce a gradual reopening for all students in First Steps through Grade 11; our Grade 12 students are officially done with classes – congratulations, Seniors!
Grade 11 students returned to campus on 4 May.
During the week of 18 May, Grade 5, 9 and 10 students returned to the Oberursel Campus; Grade 6-8 students returned to the Wiesbaden Campus.
During the week of 25 May, Grades 4 and 8 will return to the Oberursel Campus; Grades 4 and 5 will return to the Wiesbaden Campus.
During the week of 2 June, First Steps through Grade 3 students will return to both campuses.
All grade-level returns to campus have specific criteria (for example, some grade levels are split in half and will attend class on campus every other day; other grade levels will come to campus for morning classes and other grades will come for afternoon classes). When not in class on campus, students will learn via the Distance Learning Plan (DLP).
Although our campuses remain closed to outside visitors, the admissions office remains available to answer your questions by writing to firstname.lastname@example.org.

Libraries on both the Oberursel and Wiesbaden Campuses serve as information hubs where students, staff and parents engage in academic and personal learning. Individual libraries within each division provide all community members access to thousands of books, periodicals, multi-media and online databases.

Visiting Authors and other Events
During the year, FIS and FISW libraries host visiting authors for workshops, book presentations and read alouds. During visits, students also have a chance to have books and other memorabilia signed by some of their favorite authors.
Past visits have included:
- Erin Hunt of the Warriors, Seekers and Survivors book series.
- Scott Seegert of Vordak the Incomprehensible
In addition to visiting authors events, the PTG hosts several week-long book fairs, offering a wide selection of quality titles for purchase in both English and German language. Proceeds from the book fairs help support the school's visiting authors program.
